Troop-829 Calendar 2011

If there is enough interest, the complete Amateur Radio Technician License course will be taught during the summer  at the scout shelter. This course prepares a scout to take the Federal Communications Commission Technician License test.

Special merit badge instruction will be arranged for any scout for rank purposes.

11-12 Backpacking in GW National Forest.  Camp Saturday night.  Return Sunday noon. Meet at lodge 1000.

25-26 Field Day sponsored by American Radio Relay League. Meet at scoutmasters home at 1200 and set up camp.  Participate in world wide radio contest until Sunday morning.

16 Service project.  Meet at lodge 1000.  Approx. 3 hours.  Lunch provided.

24-29 Summer camp in George Washington National Forest. Meet at lodge 1300 on Sunday 24th. Return Friday about 1200.  Backpacking, Camping, Nature, Forestry, Physical Fitness and other merit badges.
